We are committed to improving our built world through how we work with our clients and apply our services to the construction and asset management industries, while recognising our wider responsibility to create positive sustainability outcomes for our people, communities and global partners.
We make a difference through five connected themes that drive measurable outcomes across our projects and communities.
Construction and asset management account for a significant share of global carbon emissions, energy use and environmental impact, yet they are also central to climate adaptation and prevention. Through innovative surveying, measurement and inspection services, including advanced digital twins and data-driven insights developed with industry, clients, suppliers and academia, we improve sustainability across the entire asset lifecycle. From design to operation and life extension, we reduce material use, waste, energy consumption, travel, emissions and site visits. By enabling resilient design and longer asset life, we accelerate value delivery, making construction safer, smarter and genuinely more sustainable.
Our surveys are driven by a clear commitment to protecting and restoring nature and the wider environment. Working alongside our teams, local communities and key environmental partners, we apply our skills, technologies and expertise to safeguard natural habitats and deliver measurable environmental value. Our initial focus is on woodland, carbon fund monitoring, development biodiversity net gains and water quality. We are working in partnership with the England Community Forests we are developing innovative solutions in Digital forests, smart forest monitoring and inspection.
We endeavour to support communities during emergencies, partnering with relevant agencies to provide immediate and effective response to natural and man-made disasters. Our UAS capabilities enable rapid assessment, structural monitoring, and damage mapping and, by combining our technology and expertise, we can accelerate recovery, enhance safety, and provide practical solutions that stabilise affected areas and help communities.
We nurture the current and next generation of surveyors, technicians, and STEM professionals through education and skills development. Partnering with schools, universities, and local communities, we provide learning opportunities, inspire curiosity, and create pathways to meaningful careers. By supporting local markets and underserved regions, we help young people gain knowledge, confidence, and skills, empowering them to succeed while strengthening our industry and future workforce.
We prioritise the health, safety, and wellbeing of our teams and communities. Through supportive workplace practices and programmes, we promote physical, mental, and social wellness. Extending beyond our organisation, we engage local communities in initiatives that encourage active lifestyles, access to services, and resilience. By fostering wellbeing, we create stronger teams, healthier communities, and an environment where people and society can thrive together.
