While the UK experienced its hottest May Day on record, the team at Digital Construction Rail was generating plenty of heat of its own. This was achieved through professional development, technical excellence, and hands-on training with some of the rail industry’s most advanced surveying technology.
As part of Digital Construction Rail’s ongoing commitment to delivering precise, reliable, and innovative rail surveying solutions, Survey Manager Georgios Constantinou recently led an intensive technical training programme for members of the surveying team. The session brought together surveyors Jamie Greenwood, Dmytro Rudakevich, George Ling, Joanro Gomes, and Lukasz Niewadzi. These participants travelled from Poland to take part in the specialist training.

The programme focused on enhancing practical knowledge and operational expertise using industry-leading Amberg systems, including:
- Amberg IMS 1000
- Amberg GRP 1000 / 3000
- Amberg IMS 5000
These advanced surveying systems play a critical role in capturing highly accurate track and infrastructure data. They support everything from routine maintenance and inspections to major track design and renewal projects.
By regularly investing in technical training and equipment familiarisation, Digital Construction Rail ensures its survey teams remain at the forefront of industry best practice. Moreover, the hands-on sessions enabled surveyors to test system capabilities, refine workflows, and strengthen their understanding of the latest surveying technologies.
For rail infrastructure projects, accurate survey data is fundamental to successful planning and delivery. Whether supporting future track design works, renewals, or complex engineering schemes, Digital Construction Rail combines technical expertise with cutting-edge technology. As a result, the company provides clients with dependable, high-quality survey solutions.

The training session reflects the company’s ongoing commitment to continuous improvement, innovation, and excellence across the rail sector. By keeping skills current and technology up to date, Digital Construction Rail continues to provide the precision data required to meet client requirements. This approach also supports increasingly complex rail projects.
