Utilities & Topographical Surveys | PAS 128 | Team Leadership<\/p>\n\n

We\u2019re looking for an experienced Lead Utilities Surveyor<\/strong> to join our growing team.<\/p>\n\n

This is a senior, hands-on role for someone who combines strong technical capability with leadership experience. You\u2019ll deliver and oversee high-quality utilities surveys to PAS 128 standards<\/strong>, manage multiple projects in parallel, and support the development of junior surveyors.<\/p>\n\n

If you enjoy technical problem-solving, leading teams on site, and working closely with clients to deliver complex projects safely and efficiently \u2014 this could be the role for you.<\/p>\n\n

What You\u2019ll Be Doing<\/h2>\n\n
    \n
  • Leading utilities and topographical surveys using GPR, EML and TPS\/GNSS<\/li>\n
  • Delivering and overseeing PAS 128 compliant surveys<\/li>\n
  • Managing data collection and post-processing (AutoCAD 2D\/3D, IQMaps, Geolitix)<\/li>\n
  • Supervising and mentoring junior surveyors<\/li>\n
  • Overseeing multiple live projects, ensuring quality, programme and budget targets are met<\/li>\n
  • Acting as a technical point of contact for clients on site<\/li>\n
  • Supporting project planning, logistics and commercial inputs including estimates<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

    What We’re Looking For<\/h2>\n\n
      \n
    • Extensive experience in utilities surveying<\/li>\n
    • Strong knowledge of PAS 128<\/li>\n
    • Proficiency with GPR, EML, TPS and GNSS equipment<\/li>\n
    • AutoCAD capability (2D\/3D)<\/li>\n
    • Experience post-processing GPR data<\/li>\n
    • CSCS certified<\/li>\n
    • Experience leading teams and managing projects concurrently<\/li>\n
    • Confident communicator with strong client-facing skills<\/li>\n
    • Full UK driving licence<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

      Flexibility for occasional night work and working away from home is required.<\/p>\n\n
