You\u2019ll play a vital part in keeping operations running smoothly by managing equipment logistics, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring everything is fit for purpose.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>What You\u2019ll Be Doing<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>As Equipment Manager, you will:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Manage the survey equipment store, ensuring it is organised, efficient, and professional<\/li>\n<li>Prepare, allocate, and track equipment for survey teams<\/li>\n<li>Maintain and update the company equipment register<\/li>\n<li>Carry out regular cleaning, maintenance, repairs, and calibration checks<\/li>\n<li>Manage consumables, including stock control, ordering, and deliveries<\/li>\n<li>Source and coordinate hired equipment when required, negotiating best value<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with Operations and Project Managers to anticipate equipment needs<\/li>\n<li>Track costs and maintain records for reporting and budgeting<\/li>\n<li>Produce monthly reports covering usage, repairs, losses, and hire<\/li>\n<li>Ensure equipment usage protocols are followed and address issues where necessary<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What We\u2019re Looking For<\/h3>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Essential Skills &amp; Experience<\/h4>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Technically minded with the ability to understand and manage equipment<\/li>\n<li>Strong organisational and problem-solving skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work independently and manage changing priorities<\/li>\n<li>Good IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel<\/li>\n<li>Proactive, reliable, and detail oriented<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Desirable Background<\/h4>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Experience in surveying, engineering, or a similar technical environment<\/li>\n<li>Previous experience managing a stores, logistics, or equipment function<\/li>\n<li>Hands-on experience with tools, equipment, or workshop environments<\/li>\n<li>Basic maintenance or DIY skills<\/li>\n<li>Full, clean driving licence<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why Join Us?<\/h3>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Be part of a supportive and collaborative operations team<\/li>\n<li>Play a key role in the success of project delivery<\/li>\n<li>Opportunity to shape and improve processes<\/li>\n<li>Stable, long-term opportunity with structured handover<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Equipment Manager Harpenden (Office-Based) | Occasional Travel to LondonFull-Time | Internal Operations About the Role We\u2019re looking for a proactive and organised Equipment Manager to join our Internal Operations team in Harpenden.
