ROLE OVERVIEW
The Rail Surveyor is a key member of the team, responsible for delivering high-quality survey data across rail and highway environments. The role involves working with advanced survey technologies, including laser scanning, UAV and measurement data services. These technologies support projects for clients such as Network Rail and London Underground. Accuracy, safety and technical compliance are central to the role. Notably, projects vary in scale and complexity.
Working closely with survey leads, delivery teams and clients, the Rail Surveyor contributes to the successful delivery of projects nationwide. The role requires a strong understanding of rail environments and a collaborative approach. This ensures survey outputs meet agreed specifications and consistently high standards. As a result, this supports reliable decision-making across infrastructure projects.
