The role
Our Project Managers play a central role in delivering complex geospatial survey services across built assets and infrastructure projects. You’ll ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest technical and quality standards.
This role would suit experienced project professionals with a strong technical understanding of survey methodologies, commercial awareness, and the ability to lead teams and client relationships confidently.
Responsibilities
- Lead geospatial survey projects from scope definition through delivery, managing programmes, resources, risks, budgets, and quality standards.
- Act as the primary client contact, leading meetings, technical discussions, and progress updates while managing expectations and project changes.
- Oversee financial and commercial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, pricing support, and identifying efficiency improvements.
- Manage and support project teams, coordinating resources and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and operational requirements.
- Apply technical expertise across topographic surveys, laser scanning, mobile mapping, and monitoring systems to ensure accurate, high-quality deliverables.
- Ensure compliance with PAS 128, RICS guidance, CDM regulations, and UK health & safety standards, including RAMS reviews and data quality management.
You will have
- A degree in engineering, geomatics, surveying, construction management, or related field.
- Proven track record managing geospatial or digital construction projects across built assets and infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of survey technologies and methodologies.
- Experience reviewing specifications and defining technical project requirements.
- Familiarity with NEC3/NEC4 contracts and commercial processes.
- Excellent communication skills, able to explain technical concepts clearly to clients and teams.
- Strong commercial awareness, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost management.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to client sites.
