The role
This is an exciting opportunity to build a long term career within a highly respected and innovative surveying business. You will gain exposure to a wide variety of projects, ranging from buildings and infrastructure in major city environments to rural and countryside developments. Working alongside experienced teams, you will develop hands on experience using both traditional surveying techniques and the latest geospatial technologies contributing to projects for our North American clients.

Responsibilities
- Assist Surveyors across the business with data collection and data processing activities on a variety of projects.
- Support the delivery of projects in line with company quality standards, technical specifications, and health and safety requirements.
- Develop knowledge of survey theory, industry best practice, new technologies, and surveying instrumentation.
- Build technical capability across multiple surveying disciplines within the Digital Construction team.
- Support surveying and technical project activities following client instruction.
- Assist with managing project data from collection through to final delivery using appropriate technologies and methodologies.
- Help ensure projects are delivered within agreed timescales and commercial expectations.
- Report project progress to Project Managers and support effective project delivery.
- Liaise with clients on site regarding project specifications and deliverables when required.
- Work closely with Lead Surveyors to gain practical experience and technical knowledge across all aspects of surveying.
- Work flexibly, including occasional night work and working away from home where required.
- Undertake additional reasonable duties as requested.
You will have
- Previous surveying experience or a relevant qualification in Surveying, Geospatial, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- A self motivated approach with strong problem solving ability.
- Confidence using IT applications and technology.
- A willingness to travel frequently, work flexible hours, and occasionally stay away from home.
- A valid state issued driving licence.
- A genuine passion for building a career within the surveying and geospatial industry.

- Familiarity with Leica survey equipment.
- Experience using laser scanning technology.
- Experience with data processing and AutoCAD.
