As part of this year’s Mental Health Awareness Week celebrations, colleagues from our Ahmedabad office in India swapped screens for cricket bats. They came together for a fun-filled office box cricket tournament focused on wellbeing, teamwork and connection.
The event was organised by Krishna Chaitanya Vadali, Operations Manager, Ketul Patel, Process Lead and Mehul Saini, CAD Lead. These organisers helped bring employees from across departments together for an afternoon of friendly competition, laughter and team spirit. Moreover, Ahmedabad staff demonstrated exceptional camaraderie during the matches.
The mini triangular series kept the energy high, with each team made up of seven players and matches played over six overs. Every bowler had the opportunity to bowl one over. As a result, this created a fast-paced and inclusive tournament where everyone could get involved. This reflects the vibrant work environment in Ahmedabad offices.

Reflecting on the success of the event, Mehul said:
“It turned out to be a fun and energetic event that brought everyone together. We really enjoyed the team spirit, had great engagement across colleagues, and made the most of it with snacks and cold drinks. Overall, it was a refreshing break from work and a memorable experience for everyone involved.”
Mental Health Awareness Week is an important opportunity to highlight the value of connection, exercise and taking time to recharge. Events like this not only encourage physical activity, but also strengthen workplace relationships. They also create a supportive and positive environment for colleagues. In summary, the sense of unity was evident across Ahmedabad teams throughout the event.
From cheering teammates on from the sidelines to celebrating boundaries and wickets together, the tournament was a reminder that wellbeing in the workplace can be supported through simple moments of fun, inclusion and shared experience.
A huge thank you to everyone who took part and helped make the event such a success.
