PRIMARY PURPOSE
We are seeking a highly motivated, organised and people-focused individual to support a dynamic, fast-moving commercial team. This role is responsible for managing inbound enquiries across web, phone and email channels, maintaining and improving the CRM system, driving sales governance, and identifying opportunities for process improvement. This position plays a pivotal role in enabling high-quality client engagement, accurate reporting and insights, and consistent sales processes across all divisions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Inbound Enquiries & Client Engagement
- Act as the first point of contact for all incoming central sales enquiries (phone, web, email), ensuring prompt, professional and client-centric responses.
- Qualify inbound leads, gather key information and triage enquiries to the appropriate BD or Sales team member
- Manage the main sales inbox to ensure all enquiries receive timely, consistent, and high-quality responses.
CRM Ownership & Data Quality
- Serve as the internal owner and subject-matter expert for the CRM system.
- Enforce data quality and discipline, ensuring all accounts, contacts and opportunities are accurate, complete and up to date
- Train and support sales staff in correct CRM usage, including opportunity setup, data hygiene and process adherence.
- Work with management to standardise and improve CRM workflows, templates and sales processes.
- Produce regular CRM health checks and take proactive steps to improve data quality.
Sales Governance & Sales Process Management
- Schedule, prepare for and support weekly or bi-weekly governance meetings (e.g., Weekly Commercial Forum, Sales Check-Ins).
- Support development and adoption of consistent sales processes across all business units.
- Identify opportunities for improvement in the sales process and develop, recommend and implement solutions
Reporting & Commercial Insights
- Own sales performance reporting, delivering weekly, monthly and quarterly insight across all divisions against agreed KPIs
- Analyse CRM data to identify trends, risks and opportunities, including lead quality, conversion performance, pipeline health and client engagement patterns
- Translate insight into action, making clear recommendations to leadership to inform BD/sales focus and resource allocation
General Support
- Ensure exceptional levels of service to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Provide support to other roles within the Business Support function.
